Stop the World...I Want to Get Off

Clarksville Little Theatre brings forth an exploration on the meaning (or lack thereof) of world success in Stop the World - I Want to Get Off, which opens next week.

Stop the World - I Want to Get Off will take place on May 9, 10, 15, 16, and 17 at 8 p.m. each night. A matinee will go on May 11 at 2 p.m. All performances are to happen at Clarksville Little Theatre, located at 301 E. Montgomery in Clarksville, IN.

Tickets for each show are $17 for adults, $14 for seniors 60 and over, $14 for teens, and $10 for children. All tickets can be purchased at the door or reserve them at the Clarksville Little Theatre website.

Stop the World - I Want to Get Off focuses on Littlechap as he reexamines his life, including pursuit of his own agenda, and his love of his wife. When things seemingly don't go the way he wants, he yells "stop the world" as a way to keep things from going out of control. The musical features songs like Once in a Lifetime and What Kind of Fool am I?

Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley created Stop the World - I Want to Get Off, which Ron Johnson directed for Clarksville Little Theatre.

More information on the show can be found at the Clarksville Little Theatre website.
