Style steals and splurges to rock for New Year's Eve

Print

New Year's Eve is right around the corner. Deciding on plans for the occasion is difficult, but equally as important, what to wear? The outfit totally depends on the plans, whether it be a party, hanging out at a friend's house or going out to dinner. NYE is an excuse to dress up, so if you are dying to bring out the sparkles and sequins, here is your chance.

If the party is formal, a gown would be appropriate, but if you are going out with friends a short fun dress would be more suitable.

STRETCH COTTON SKATER DRESS- $39.90

Hanging out at a friends house is totally based on what the host decides. Maybe he or she would like everyone to dress up. If there are not any suggestions for attire, a dark denim, cute top and blazer is chic without being overdressed. As example, these jeans, top and blazer, all from Express.

STELLA REGULAR FIT BOOT CUT JEAN- $69.90

LACE AND SEQUIN STRIPE RACERBACK TANK- $39.90

STUDIO STRETCH ONE BUTTON JACKET- $98.00

The jean and blazer look would also work for dinner, unless it is a fancy restaurant, then go with the little black dress. The best thing about a little black dress is it looks formal, whether it is $20 or $2000.

To dress up any look, throw on a pair of pumps, accessorize and go with a more dramatic beauty look. Forever 21 is a great store to find cheap trendy dresses and accessories. This look from Forever 21 is under $60.
