Former University of Louisville Cardinal and current New England Patriot Deion Branch is returning to the River City Friday afternoon. The Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XXXIX is scheduled to visit the Papa John's at 2nd and Liberty Streets downtown.
If the NFL Lockout does not end soon, how many more of these special appearances will football fans have to endure?
The good news: In spite of the protracted labor dispute, it now appears that Mr. Branch still has some moneymaking opportunities available and won't be staying at Wayside Christian Mission anytime soon.
For anyone interested in booking Mr. Branch, I understand he has Sunday afternoons open this fall.
