Take your kids to the movies for free [Southern Indiana]

Print

This summer you can take your kids to the movies for free at the Great Escape Theaters in Clarksville and New Albany and Corydon Cinemas in Corydon.

The Great Escape Theaters in Clarksville and New Albany are showing family films from June 9 to August 12 at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The lineup features Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaur, Planet 51, Night at the Museum 2, Monsters vs. Aliens, Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Hotel For Dogs, Tale Of Despereaux, and Kung Fu Panda.

Corydon Cinemas is showing mostly the same films every Wednesday at 10 a.m. from June 9 to August 4. All three theaters open at 9 a.m., and you should get there early if you want a decent seat. All three theaters will also have their concession stands open, but what is the fun of a free movie if you can't smuggle in snacks inside your purse?
