Tatu Celebrates Friday the 13th with a Piercing and Tattoo Special
Print this page

Black cats crossing your path, breaking mirrors, and Friday the 13th; for some people these situations are unlucky superstitions in our society.  The number 13 often gets a negative connotation because it is thought to be an “unlucky” number.  But one industry in particular seems to be enamored the date. The 13th apparently is “big” in the tattoo industry. With that being said, Tatu (located in Mall St. Matthews) is looking to celebrate the day and embrace its superstition.

Tatu opened their St Matthews location in November 2012 after seeing the success of their two other locations in Jefferson Mall and The Towne Mall in Elizabethtown.  Not your typical tattoo parlor, Tatu has more of a spa feel. The intimate shop has a sleek design,  and inviting atmosphere. Their event Friday the 13th is their way of giving back to their loyal customers and inviting new ones to come take a look.

Friday they are offering select piercings and tattoos for $13.00.  The event is first come first serve, walk ins only. All tattoos will be “Friday the 13th” themed. Clients are encouraged to check out Tatu’s Facebook page and select their design from a specific sheet.  All three locations will be offering this event, from 10 am to 9 pm. If you are planning to participate in this event, please bring your I.D.

To select your design or piercing(s) check out Tatu’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/TatuMallStMatthews

Tatu is located down the hall from Godiva Chocolatiers, across the hall from The Diamond Ring Company.

Make your Friday the 13th memorable!
