In celebration of National Quilters' Day Out, the Sew-n-Tell Quilt Guild of New Albany will be sponsoring its Third Annual Southern Indiana Quilter's Day Out on March 20, 2010. In order to accommodate the ever growing number of attendees, we will be holding the event at a new location this year. The First Church of God located on the corner of Silver Street and Charlestown Road in New Albany has graciously allowed us to use the Harvest Hall, located in the lower level of the church, for our event. There are elevators available to provide access for those unable to use the stairs. The outing will begin at 10:00AM and end at 3:00PM. Door prizes will be given every half hour and Grand Prize drawings will be held at 11:30AM and 2:30PM. (must be present to win) $2.00 donation at the door. This event is open to all quilt enthusiasts and will include demonstrations, door prizes, vendors, guild quilts on display, and the opportunity to meet and sew with other quilters. Electricity will be available for those who wish to bring their sewing machines. Concessions will be available or you may bring your own. The first 50 quilters will receive a free Donna Sharp, Inc Tote Bag. For more information, contact Carol Fridley at 812-945-9507 or Lisa Thilo at [email protected].
