With all the stuff going on aroud the city for Halloween, Fourth Stree Live!'s Hallowfest is among the City’s most anticipated. This free event is scheduled for October 27 & 28 and will be the place to embrace your inner child or to bring your children.

Saturday, October 27th from 8 PM to midnight will feature a “Heaven and Hell” theme complete with decor. The highlight of the evening will be a daring escape by world-famous magician Spencer Horsman, renowned escape artist and magician. He'll attempt to escape from two regulation straitjackets while being suspended from Fourth Street Live!’s 90-foot glass ceiling while his rope is burning. At 15, Horsman appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman and performed with David Copperfield in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />
There will also be a costume contest with $4500 dollars in prize money awarded. Winners will be selected in three categories: Best Group or Duo, Scariest, and Most Original.
In addition there will be fire performers throughout the district while DJ Ben spins music. Hallowfest is presented by Miller Lite with support from Malibu Rum.
On Sunday, October 28th, Louisville’s premier entertainment destination is hosting a free family Halloween festival from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Little boys and “ghouls” will have more fun than they can shake a witch’s broom at with trick-or-treating throughout the district, games and prizes with Radio Disney, a kids’costume contest (with prizes awarded to the best costumes under 7 years of age and 7 -12 years of age), Borders’ Spooky Storytime, a Moonbounce Inflatable and pumpkin painting. With this much fun packed into one location, moms and dads will wish they were kids again!
