Davis, along with Kevin Moore, professional fiddle player seen on the Grand Ole Opry, Nashville Now and CMT, and special guest Glenn Lawson, former singer with J.D. Crowe and The New South, will perform in the heated Centre Square Convention Center in Lebanon, Kentucky Jan. 7 as part of the weekend-long Winterfest ’06.
On Jan. 6, the Battle of the Bluegrass Bands will kick it all off with a $1,000 first prize up for grabs. The Battle is a FREE EVENT and the top two finalists will compete in a showdown following the Davis concert Jan. 7. Workshops for banjo, fiddle and guitar will be held throughout Saturday morning and afternoon. The sessions will be conducted by Davis and Moore.
Tickets for the Jan. 7 concert are $25 for dinner and the show, $10 in advance for the show only and $12 at the door for the show only. Children 12 and under get in free for the show only with a paying adult. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the dinner and show and the meal will be served at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. for show only ticket holders.
