Toyland Christmas benefits Home of the Innocents with 80,000 Christmas lights and music [Christmas]

Looking for a fun filled Christmas event that benefits a great cause? Be sure to join Home of the Innocents for a Toyland Christmas light show. Last year featured 80,000+ Christmas lights that were coordinated to the beat of Christmas music.

In the last 5 years Toyland Christmas has raised over $25,000 for the Home of the Innocents. Stop on by and enjoy the show. Be sure to tune your radio to 92.3 FM and listen to the music in the warmth of your car. Also, don't forget to drop a donation in the secure box; 100% of the proceeds benefit Home of the Innocents.

Here's some useful information about the Toyland Christmas: 

  • Open 7 nights a week from November 26th, 2010 - December 31st, 2010 (tune your radio to 92.3 FM)
  • Sunday - Thursday 6pm - 10pm & Friday & Saturday 6pm - 11pm 
  • 100% of the proceeds go to the Home of the Innocents
  • Special Papa Johns Event on Saturday December 18, 2010 from 6pm - 11pm. Bring the kids and family for a great time (details below)

Louisville’s own Home of the Innocents, a private, non-profit agency that has been in operation for 130 years, served almost 2,000 children last year. The Home provides services to assist those who are facing severe crisis, including:

  • Residential and community-based services to children who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected.
  • The Home operates a hospital-like and home away from home environment for medically fragile children, children who are dependent on technology to sustain life, as well as children who are terminally ill.
  • In-home and in-school support services are provided for children with autism.
