In his highly anticipated return to racing, Uncle Mo looked headed toward victory in the Grade 1 $250,000 Foxwoods King's Bishop at Saratoga, but Caleb's Posse got up in time to take it from him by a nose. Sitting mid-pack through much of the seven furlong race, Uncle Mo let the speed of the race fight it out on the front end. Poseidon's Warrior, Runflatout and Flashpoint led the field and set fractions of :22.23 and :44.92 before fading as the field turned for home.

Uncle Mo, who lost a shoe during the race, moved on the leaders going into the stretch and appeared to be the same two-year-old champion we wanted to see, but Caleb's Posse was also driving toward the finish. Caleb's Posse tagged Uncle Mo at the wire in a finish too close to call. The photo showed Caleb's Posse had Uncle Mo by a nose. Justin Phillip was another 2 1/2 lengths behind in third.

Rounding out the field were Dominus, Flashpoint, Poseidon's Warrior, Runflatout and Cool Blue Red Hot.

Caleb's Posse paid $13.80, $5.00 and $3.50 for a $2 wager. Uncle Mo returned $3.40 and $2.80 and Justin Phillip paid $6.60. The $2 exacta returned $39.40 and the trifecta paid $525.00.
