If you dig UofL, good art and fireworks, you won’t want to miss this opportunity to indulge in three of your favorite passions on Thunder Day.
This Saturday, April 16, the University of Louisville Cressman Center for Visual Arts will host a Derby viewing party from 3 P.M. to midnight. For $25—or $10 for children 15 and under—you’ll get all-day access to the Cressman Center, water, pop and light refreshments, and movies after the fireworks so you won’t have to fight the crowds the moment it’s over. A package with parking at the 1st and Main garage is also available.
The Cressman Center is located at 100 East Main Street downtown, and proceeds from the event will go to the Hite Art Institute. To reserve your ticket, call 852-8403. For more information, contact John Begley at email@example.com.
