Designed for amateurs and first-time brewers, this class explores the process of home brewing beer from start to finish. Topics include brewing with malt extract; a brief history of brewing; necessary equipment; cooking and cooling the wart; fermentation; bottling and carbonation; and alternative types of brewing.
Fee includes supplies used in class but not an individual home brewing kit, which is NOT required for participation.
Class meets on 6 consecutive Thursday nights beginning on October 1.
