Upcoming delicious burlesque show features food and fannies [Theater]

Louisville's favorite burlesque troupe returns with an entire show centered around food just in time for the frightening fried food fest at the Kentucky State Fair. Art Sanctuary and the Va Va Vixens presents Va Va Vittles April 9-11 at Headliners Music Hall.
Why not associate beautiful and talented women of all shapes and sizes with yum yums for your tum tums? Their often sold out shows usually tantalize the senses with humor, sensuality, acrobatic talent, and music, satisfying the audience's hunger for entertainment. I expect this show to be no different.
This show will be hosted by Jolene and Frankie the Chef  who will lead the show through food based music, costumes, sauces and hilarity mixed with over 25 beautiful talented men and women who will be crooning, flying through the air, dancing, contorting, and participating in a kissing booth.  These burlesque shows aren't just sexy women shaking their bodies; there is an array of talent displayed by singers, hula hoopers, aerial artists in lyras, the silks, or on the Spanish web in addition to contortionists and magicians. They are great for a night on the town, a romantic evening, or even impressing others with the talent Louisville has to offer. A lot of audience members dress to impress, which is interpreted in a variety of ways from gowns and suits to corsets and stockings.  The last show had a vixen walking around the audience in stilts.
You can purchase tickets for $20 (standard) or $30 (VIP) at the show or ahead of time at the Headliners web site. Doors open at 6 p.m. and show starts at 8 p.m. You can also visit www.art-sanctuary.org
Art Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 non-profit status community-oriented arts collective supporting local visual, literary and performing arts through events, promotion and education.
