It's your chance to run away with the carnival! I don't mean some smelly roadside attraction with shifty folks. I mean a busload of beautiful women! It's like a steam dream come true! The next Va Va Vixens show, "Va Va Carnivale" will be opening Thursday at Headliners Music Hall; the show features a bearded lady, a unicorn carousel, large kitty contortionists, a band of sultry gypsies, and much more!
This burlesque performance troupe was called back for the short list for America's Got Talent last year and isn't your group of standard strip-teasers. They're a full theatrical performance group that weaves humor, amazing vocals, and aerial arts into their big productions. The evenings are great for "girls night out", dates, or outings that you want to remember with friends. Previous shows like "Va Va Vittles" and "Va Va Valentine" have boasted sold out shows as the audience increases with every performance. Last year, there was a line out the door as folks waited 2 hours in the cold to get in. Va Va Carnivale has already sold out of all of their VIP tables (up front) except for on opening night, although there is plenty of general seating for now; buying tickets ahead of time is encouraged to avoid missing out as most pre-sales occur the day before or day of a show.
Audiences fall in love with their crazy antics like a group dance number by women in windbreaker jogging suits and "billy bob" teeth, a fifty person conga line through the audience, women contorting on aerial cubes or trapeze, or the option to pop balloons full of glitter covering a girl on roller skates as she makes her way through the audience with a safety pin. These ladies make sexuality playful and fun while maintaining class and demure, which drives their audiences to talk about them until the next show and attracts all types of people.
Shows are August 22, 23, 24, 30 and 31. Tickets are $20 for general seating and $30 for V.I.P. They can be purchased from the Headliners web site or by calling 502-584-8088. The doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Seating is limited.
