The lighting, scenery, and a cast of beautiful women set the atmosphere for a sure to please show this past Saturday. The show was the first in a series of five shows, all with stunning make-up, brilliant costumes, and fearless aerialists. The burlesque show aims to please audiences while featuring women of all sizes, shapes, and colors. The storyline from start to finish enthralls the audience and keeps the attention focused on the characters as they interact. There will be no spoilers here-just some good ol’ fashioned fun!
The plot begins as the Coopers plan their Christmas party and the Mister is in charge of the entertainment. He brings the Vixens to the party to keep guests entertained as they enjoy food and beverage. The party is in full swing, literally, as the aerial acrobatics of Jordan Dundich please the audience with work on a hammock and silks. The fun continues as guests are invited to buy a kiss from the kissing booth and purchase a memento of this fabulous show. The unique and period hair and make-up was perfect, compliments of Bridget Witzke and her team, along with a fair amount of hairspray.
The cast and crew took special care to make this event one for the ages. Opening night is always a bit nerve racking for everyone, but they were professionals and made an impression that will entice this reviewer to attend their shows in the future. The upcoming Christmas shows will be at Headliners 12/2, 12/3, 12/9, and 12/10. The start time is 8pm with the doors open at 7. Headliners is located at 1386 Lexington Road and this is an 18+ show. Tickets are available at Headliners or online are $20 for general admission, $30 for VIP seating. The VIP seating is highly recommended for a fantastic view of the show.
