Scandal, con men, and a wife caught in the middle come forth in the Hayswood Theatre production Wait Until Dark, which opens this weekend.
Wait Until Dark will take place on Oct. 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, and 19 at 8 p.m. each night. Matinees are to happen on Oct. 6, 13, and 20 at 2 p.m. each day. All performances will go on at Hayswood Theatre, located at 115 S. Capitol Ave. in Corydon, IN.
Tickets for each show are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $12 for students. Reservations in advance are highly recommended and can be made by calling the Corydon Convention and Visitors Bureau at 888-738-2137.
Wait Until Dark focuses on a blind and clever housewife, Suzy, who becomes the center of three con men's plot. As the con men attempt to convince Suzy that her husband Sam has been involved in drug trafficking, none of them, at first, realize there's a bigger plot in the works.
Frederick Knott created Wait Until Dark, which Bob Trinkle directed. Carrie Cooke stars as Suzy, and Scott Smith stars as Sam. Other cast members include Jeff Ketterman as Roat, Allen Platt as Mike, Jake Minton as Carlino, and Kira Hanger as Gloria.
Following Wait Until Dark, Hayswood Theatre will present A Rented Christmas. That production will take place in November and December.
