The Young American Shakespeare Festival this year will feature two plays by William Shakespeare and one by Shakespearean contemporary writer Ben Jonson.  Titus Andronicus showcases the conflict between the Roman General title character and the Queen of the Goths, which leads to murder, revenge, and dismemberment.  Meanwhile, Cymbeline focuses on Princess Imogen trying to hold on to true love despite a scheming Queen, a doubt-stricken friend of her husband, and a Roman invasion.

Meanwhile, the Ben Jonson-created Volpone is a satire of pranksters and hangers-on.  Volpone, ever the greedy, tricks people into offering up wonderful and expensive gifts, including a beautiful woman, during this satire.

Charlie Sexton directed Titus Andronicus, Julane Havens directed Cymbeline, and J. Barrett Cooper directed Volpone.
