A newlywed's relationship is tested after a night out with a mother and neighbor in the Neil Simon-penned Barefoot in the Park, which will begin today.
Barefoot in the Park performances will take place at various times and dates between Nov. 16 and Dec. 18. All shows are to occur inside the Bingham Theatre at Actors Theatre, located at 316 West Main Street
in downtown Louisville.

Barefoot in the Park features a newlywed couple, Corie and Paul, moving into their first apartment. Corie has invited her mother and a neighbor as the first guests. What follows is a series of comedic situations and lines that will ultimately test the newlywed's relationship.
Neil Simon created Barefoot in the Park, which was seen on Broadway at the Biltmore Theatre from 1963 to 1967. Robert Redford was part of the opening night cast.
During Barefoot in the Park's run, Actors Theatre will also present A Christmas Story. That production is currently running. More information can be found in this link.
