Local psychedelic rockers Wax Fang will perform Sunday, August 1 at Ear X-tacy’s new location at 2226 Bardstown Road, just south of the Douglass Loop. The free performance will also kick off Ear X-tacy’s 25th anniversary.
The store is slated to move from 1534 Bardstown Road this week.
In May, Wax Fang played at the All Tomorrow's Parties festival in England, at Forecastle earlier this month and performed live on the air on BBC1 in June. The band will open for My Morning Jacket at their October 29 show at the new KFC Yum! Center. The August concert will be their first appearance onstage at Ear X-tacy (any location).
The show will begin at 6:00 p.m. sharp and is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.
