The musical based on the Adam Sandler-Drew Barrymore movie, The Wedding Singer, will take place beginning tonight at Clarksville Little Theatre.
The Wedding Singer will take place on May 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18 at 8 p.m. each night. A matinee show will go on May 12 at 2 p.m. All performances are to happen at Clarksville Little Theatre, located at 301 E. Montgomery St. in Clarksville, IN.
Tickets for each show are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 60 and over, $12 for teens 13-18, and $8 for children. All tickets can be purchased at the door or reserved through the Clarksville Little Theatre website.
The Wedding Singer is a musical based on the movie of the same name starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. Robby is the go-to singer for many weddings in New Jersey. Unfortunately, his path to marriage reached a dead end when his fiancee breaks up with him. However ,with Julia in his life, Robby finds new inspiration to keep going. Eventually, he falls for Julia and must now prepare for the performance of a lifetime in order to win her from her Wall Street shark of a fiancee.
John Campbell Finnegan directed The Wedding Singer, which features James Butterfield as Robbie Hart and Heather Anderson as Julia.
Following The Wedding Singer, Clarksville Little Theatre will hold auditions for its summer childrens show, Alice in Wonderland. More information on auditions can be found at this link.
