This year’s Light Up the Village will feature the granting of Jack’s Wish to go to Disney World through the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana Kentucky Region. On Friday, December 5th at 7 pm Jack’s family will have the honor of flipping the switch to Light Up the Village. The annual Westport Village Holiday Open House event begins at 6 pm with activities planned throughout the evening.
“Santa and Mrs. Claus will be here, along with musical entertainment, choral groups singing Christmas Carols and refreshments”, said Colin Underhill, Westport Village leasing agent. “Families of all ages will enjoy shopping late and experiencing our Village hospitality.”
All the Village stores will offer shopping specials with great holiday gift ideas. Shoppers will have a chance to enter the grand prize drawing for fabulous gifts from Westport Village. From November 20th through December 15th shoppers may also be a part of the Westport Village Make-A-Wish donation with opportunities to contribute at participating stores and restaurants.
Westport Village gift cards will be available for purchase. On Saturday, December 6th, free gift wrapping will be available from the Menswork, Eliminating Violence Against Women organization for all Westport Village purchases, donations accepted. Christmas trees, wreaths and garland will be sold outside at Westport Village.
