91.9 WFPK has changed their programming schedule. Depending on what programs you like to listen to, this could be a positive or a negative change.

Morning host, Kyle Meredith will now be hosting "The Weekly Feed," the new music hour, on Fridays at 8 p.m. instead of Mondays.

Matt Anthony’s "Sound Clash” moves back an hour on Fridays, now running from 9 p.m. to midnight.

“World Force Reggae” is now two hours instead of one hour and moved from Fridays at 11 p.m. to Sundays from 3-5 p.m replacing the "American Routes" repeat. The original "American Routes" airing is still available on Saturday mornings from 6-8 a.m. If you are an "American Routes" fan, unless you are an early riser this is definitely a negative change since this is the only time you can listen to this program. It's also not as cohesive since "World Force Reggae" now leads into "Roots and Boots" instead of "American Routes."

“Connections with Nic Harcourt” is Harcourt's new show which moves back to his original Monday night time slot at 8 p.m. from Saturdays at 6 p.m. This goes into effect on September 17th.

“Relics” with Duke Meyer moves from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. James Bickers moves into the old "Relics" slot at 9 a.m., with Sean Cannon following at noon.

If you love or hate the changes, WFPK would love hear your comments via email.
