So I'm not a big musical fan. But...when I DO go it never fails that I'll look at the wife and say "we should do this more often". Now, WICKED is coming to town and I have an interest in seeing it, but tickets are notoriously difficult to find.
I got a notice that Broadway Across America will be holding a lottery for each day that the musical is playing (January 7-February 1). Here's the skinny right from them:
"A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held daily for WICKED, which will be performing from January 7-February 1 at The Kentucky Center. Each day, 2½ hours prior to show time people who present themselves at The Kentucky Center box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum and then thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person. "
So, WICKED fans...do not despair. Good tickets are still out there if you think you're lucky enough.
