Mel Brooks's iconic comedy Young Frankenstein takes the Clarksville Little Theatre stage this weekend.
Young Frankenstein will go on Sept. 13, 14, 19, 20, and 21 at 8 p.m. each night. A matinee is to happen on Sept. 15 at 2 p.m. All shows are to happen at Clarksville Little Theatre, located at 301 E. Montgomery Ave. in Clarksville, IN.
Tickets are $17 for adults, $14 for seniors 60 and over and teens 13-18 years old, and $10 for children 6-12 years old. Tickets can be reserved at the Clarksville Little Theatre website or purchased at the box office.
Young Frankenstein is the musical retelling of the Mel Brooks comedy. A young Dr. Frankenstein tries to finish what his grandfather started and bring a corpse to life. The results are scary and quite comedic, especially with an oddly-shaped assistant and a self-involved fiancee in the mix.
Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan created the musical, which C. Kevin Swansey directed for Clarksville Little Theatre. The cast features Joe Tindle as Dr. Frankenstein, Andrew K. McGill as Igor, and Winnie Spitza as Elizabeth.
Following Young Frankenstein, Clarksville Little Theatre will present Christmas Belles. More information can be found at the Clarksville Little Theatre website.
