July 25 – August 29: PETER GOOCH PAINTINGS Narrow, hyper-elongated paintings of abstract strips of color that playfully shift in light and color. Influenced by the formations and rhythms of movement through the landscapes surrounding the Great Lakes in Ontario, Gooch’s paintings create subtle tensions between the jumps in palettes that contrast the organic surfaces within their geometric application.
