The Carnegie Center for Art & History in New Albany, IN offers a free family art workshop from 10 am to 12 pm the second Saturday of every month. At our Sept. 13 workshop, we will be making flowerpot pencils using fabric hair scrunchies, pencils, craft foam, and flower pots. Suggested ages 2-12. Registration is required (944-7336). September 13th the media and 150 special guests are invited to a private Gala Opening Event! The outside theater lights will fire back up along with skylights! Brooklyn's Low Water are coming back to Louisville to play with Adventure and Dangerbird. The band is about to release their new CD Twisting the Neck of the Swan, hot on the heels of their "Sister, Leave Me" video's premiere on FUSE On Demand - the band built a portable "photobooth" and filmed scores of folks from San Francisco to Brooklyn while on tour last year.
