On Sunday, Nov. 9, at 2PM, the Beargrass-St. Matthews Historical Society will present historian John Kleber in a program, Mr. Lincoln Visits Farmington. Mr. Kleber portrays Lincoln and re-enactor Kathy Nichols is a servant at the Farmington Plantation of the 1840s.

The Symphony Orchestra (Jason Seber, Music Director/Conductor), Repertory Orchestra (Craig M. Tatjana Krizmanic "Journeys". New pastel drawings by Colorado artist. Krizmanic’s pastel works are whimsical displays of European-influenced public and domestic scenes in brilliant strokes of color, making what would seem to be an ordinary occurrence into an extraordinary experience. Her work contains a warm cheerfulness where shifting perspectives make everyday settings come to life. There will be an Artist Talk and Demonstration Friday, October 17 at 4 PM, followed by a reception for the artist from 5 - 7 PM. Exhibition continues through Novemer 18, 2008.
