A regional artist, Wendi Smith has been showing her work since 1975.
Primarily a painter, she also adds assemblage and collage, some textiles,
and sculptural elements to her work with the image. Her ecclectic approach
is always evolving, and the result is a mix of subjects and techniques.
Two central themes connect her work. The first is the idea of the image as
object. To change the expected two dimensional surface of a painting to
include three dimensions is a major interest.

The “theater of imagination” offers a 20 minute open-eyed and open eared multisensory meditation. Its unique multi-leveled screen, designed by Tony Award Winner Jerry Sirlin, creates a wonderful three-dimensional effect. The artistic visuals and soothing sounds will ease your mind while offering an opportunity for deep contemplation. It is with regret that we acknowledge that the Theater is not wheelchair accessible at this time.
