This book, a Sydney Taylor Award Notable Book of 2008, tells the story of a young child who learns the meaning of friendship and comfort when his family places a mezuzah on the door of his new home.  Sponsored by The PJ Library, this event is intended for children, ages 6 months - 6 years and their parents.  It includes an author reading, signing of books, crafts and refreshments.

In this memoir, Schein and Bernstein describe their story of how each of them discovered at age 35 that she had a twin sister. Records of a secret twin study on nature versus nurture conducted by the adoption agency were sealed, so the authors began their own investigation. Tatjana Krizmanic "Journeys". New pastel drawings by Colorado artist. Krizmanic’s pastel works are whimsical displays of European-influenced public and domestic scenes in brilliant strokes of color, making what would seem to be an ordinary occurrence into an extraordinary experience. Her work contains a warm cheerfulness where shifting perspectives make everyday settings come to life. There will be an Artist Talk and Demonstration Friday, October 17 at 4 PM, followed by a reception for the artist from 5 - 7 PM. Exhibition continues through Novemer 18, 2008.
