This class broadens the meditative learning from the Self Help Meditation I class and introduces several new deepening techniques that allow the individual to reach a perfect point of stillness. October 17 - November 18: TATJANA KRIZMANIC PASTELS Tatjana Krizmanic’s pastel works are whimsical displays of European-influenced public and domestic scenes in brilliant strokes of color, making what would seem to be an ordinary occurrence into an extraordinary experience. Her work contains a warm cheerfulness where shifting perspectives make everyday settings come to life.

Students will learn to paint the human face and body. Attention will be given to shape, form, light and shadow. This class will also explore the use of color and composition for psychological effect. Instructor: Marty Edlin, Bachelors degree from the University of Louisville and Masters degree from the Art Institute of Chicago. Marty has been teaching art since 1986 and his artwork has been exhibited since 1984.

The Frazier hosts Liberty on the Border: A Civil War Exhibit September 27, 2008 through January 19, 2009 as part of the Lincoln Bicentennial.
