Join us in welcoming the Monks of the Drepung Gomang Monastery as they create a Medicine Buddha Sand Mandala, the Healing Buddha, to invoke healing of the mind and body and promote well-being. The ancient Buddhist art of 'sand painting' is a time consuming, delicate process of creating an intricate design using millions of colored sand particles. The monks will be working on the mandala for 6 hrs a day over 5 days.

The Louisville Artisans Guild will kick off the holiday shopping season with its annual Holiday Showcase at the American Legion Highland Post in Louisville, Nov 1st and 2nd. Approximately 40 juried guild members will offer exceptional handmade wares in a comfortable indoor setting. These artisans will offer pottery, textiles, sculpture, jewelry, glass, wood, stained glass, photography, painting and more. Exhibitors are from Louisville and surrounding areas of Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
