A wire-haired comedian turned supporting character actor, Kevin Pollak began doing stand-up at age ten by lip-synching to the routines of Bill Cosby. He started touring at the age of 20, which included gigs at such comedy clubs as The Improv! He is well-known for his dead-on impressions of Christopher Walken and William Shatner as James T. Kirk in "Star Trek".
In addition to comedy, Kevin Pollak has also starred in movies like "A Few Good Men", "End of Days", "The Whole Nine Yards", and "The Usual Suspects".

In a couple of weeks the Speed Art Museum will close the largest exhibition it has ever hosted, Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness: American Art from the Yale University Art Gallery. This must- see exhibition includes drawings, prints, photographs, furniture, silver, and ceramics from Yale University’s renowned collection of 18th- and 19th-century American fine and decorative arts including John Trumbull's painting of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and silver crafted by Paul Revere.
Kendal R. Miller of Photography by Kendal will be the featured artist at Signatures of Switzerland County during the Vevay Main Street Jan. 2 “Happy New Year” First Friday event.
Miller will show new works, including new local and area landscapes and nostalgic memorabilia. She will also demonstrate the art of hand-coloring photographs with pencils—now more often done by computer.
