Back by popular demand, comedic singer and songwriter Tim Wilson comes to Louisville's Improv Comedy Club! You won't want to miss a night of laughter as Tim Wilson performs many of his hit songs. His comedy CD's, like "It's a Sorry World", "Gettin My Mind Right", and "I Should've Married My Father-In-Law" have sold over 500,000 copies. Tim Wilson makes people laugh on a daily basis as a regular on radio shows like "John Boy and Billy Big Show", "Bob and Tom", and "Rick & Bubba". He is also broadcast on XM and Sirius Satellite Radio.

B. Deemer Gallery presents the latest series of landscape paintings by artist, Ellen Glasgow. A reception will be held for the artist on Saturday, January 10 from 2 - 4 PM and the exhibition will continue through February 17, 2009.

In a couple of weeks the Speed Art Museum will close the largest exhibition it has ever hosted, Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness: American Art from the Yale University Art Gallery. This must- see exhibition includes drawings, prints, photographs, furniture, silver, and ceramics from Yale University’s renowned collection of 18th- and 19th-century American fine and decorative arts including John Trumbull's painting of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and silver crafted by Paul Revere.

Kendal R. Miller of Photography by Kendal will be the featured artist at Signatures of Switzerland County during the Vevay Main Street Jan. 2 “Happy New Year” First Friday event. Miller will show new works, including new local and area landscapes and nostalgic memorabilia. She will also demonstrate the art of hand-coloring photographs with pencils—now more often done by computer.
