The mid-South’s premier show for outdoor enthusiasts returns to the Kentucky Exposition Center for nine days of fun for the whole family. Attendees can shop for and book their next vacation, then visit hundreds of booths that showcase the latest in boating, fishing, hunting, camping and RVing. Special attractions include the Take Me Fishing Center, seminars from hunting and fishing pros, canine athlete competitions and the Kids Adventure Trail.

French Lick Resort invites guests to tantalize their taste buds with resort chefs and industry experts by attending the Culinary Classics Weekend on Jan. 23 and 24. Participants will be treated to a culinary delight as the professionals demonstrate a variety of techniques that will help them expand their kitchen creativity. A reception for culinary participants will be held on Friday evening from 6:30 – 8 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available as guests have the opportunity to mingle with the culinary professionals.

Kendal R. Miller of Photography by Kendal will be the featured artist at Signatures of Switzerland County during the Vevay Main Street Jan. 2 “Happy New Year” First Friday event.
