Directed by Alec Volz, and written by David Murray, Walden Theatre presents the World Premiere of a play about a 15 year-old girl who thinks she’s a character in the cult-classic 90’s TV show, lamenting the trials and tribulations of being a teenager and dealing with friends, guys, parents and school. His credits as a writer include "Late Show with David Letterman", "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", "The Dana Carvey Show", and the "Chris Rock Show". His work for the "Chris Rock Show" was nominated for an Emmy Award three times, including winning "Best Writing in a Variety or Comedy Series" in 1999. He was also nominated for an Emmy Award for his work writing on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien".

Louisville Karen Salyer McElmurray will read from her new novel, The Motel of the Stars.  The story is set in Kentucky, is published by Louisville's Sarabande Books, and has been selected as this year's winner in the Linda Bruckheimer Series in Kentucky Literature.

The mid-South’s premier show for outdoor enthusiasts returns to the Kentucky Exposition Center for nine days of fun for the whole family.
