In the bountiful array of children’s literature, no author is better known and respected than the Greek story teller, Aesop. A former slave who was physically disfigured and suffered from a speech impediment, Aesop possessed a rare and valuable knowledge: he could read and write. By his wit and clever turn of phrase, he was freed by his master and became known for his story telling. Using animals as characters, he served up life lessons and morals in a tasty and digestible cupcake of a story.

Miller will show new works, including new local and area landscapes and nostalgic memorabilia. She will also demonstrate the art of hand-coloring photographs with pencils—now more often done by computer.
