Splash! is a new water exhibit in KidZone, our exhibit area designed specifically for children 7 and younger and their caregivers. The new exhibit replaces the popular water table, which was part of KidZone for over 20 years.

In the bountiful array of children’s literature, no author is better known and respected than the Greek story teller, Aesop. A former slave who was physically disfigured and suffered from a speech impediment, Aesop possessed a rare and valuable knowledge: he could read and write. By his wit and clever turn of phrase, he was freed by his master and became known for his story telling. Using animals as characters, he served up life lessons and morals in a tasty and digestible cupcake of a story.
