Join us as the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft presents Blackacre Art Week 2009 at Blackacre State Nature Preserve, located just off Tucker Station Road in eastern Jefferson County. Taking place in one of the city’s most beautiful outdoor facilities, this intense and fun-filled hands-on art day camp is open for creative 10-13 year olds who are interested in art. They require no skill level or prior experience, just a sincere desire to learn. Participants will take part in four different workshops designed and taught by Kentucky’s finest artists.

On May 16, the Frazier International History Museum opens Fontaine Ferry, a 3,800 square foot exhibition that explores this integral part of Louisville's history, just in time for the 40th anniversary of the park's closing.
