The Center for Photographic Studies was a Louisville alternative school for creative photography founded by C.J. Pressma in 1970. During its eight-year existence, the Center attracted students from over 35 states and foreign countries to its full-time resident program and provided instruction and darkroom access for hundreds of students in the Louisville area. Using silvered bottles, clear stones, thin steel rods with glass and bubbles inside bubbles, the artwork describes moments of gazing into the mirror at a bar, stacking stones, blowing wishes with a dandelion and playing with soap bubbles.
As well, Casey will also install a hanging chandelier in Glassworks' main lobby. Entitled "Offering", the silvered glass sculpture is loosely inspired by Shel Silverstein's"The Giving Tree".

As a conscientious objector the Vietnam War, Fritz Klemperer began serving his two year alternative service in Kenya. He joined the merchant marine, drove an ambulance and taught school. Since then, Klemperer has returned to Kenya six times in over 40 years. Klemperer is a psychologist who lives with his wife and three children in Berea, Ohio.
