Lynn's Paradise Café hosted the 12th annual Ugly Lamp Contest, which included the born ugly and made ugly categories, as well as the new Leg Lamp category created especially for Actors Theatre's production of A Christmas Story. Lamps will be displayed at the Kentucky State Fair August 20 - 30. After the contest entrants may pick up their lamps at Lynn's, or are invited to donate their lamps for display at Actors Theatre and Lynn's Paradise Café.

Inner Strength Boot Camp is now offering two sessions for the fall. The first one begins on September 21 through October 16. The second one runs from October 19 through November 13. The group meets at the Waterfront in downtown Louisville Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6 a.m. for four weeks to work on strength, cardio and flexibility. The cost is $180 per session.
