The 3rd annual NOHS “Tis the Season” Artisan and Spirit Fest is coming up Saturday, November 14th from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm with Day of the Mustangs Spirit Fest during 12:00 to 4:00 pm. The American Cancer Society’s prostate cancer education and support group, Man to Man, helps men cope with prostate cancer by receiving information and peer support. Man to Man is a forum for men to learn about diagnosis and treatment options through presentations, written materials and videos. Free family art workshop held the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10 am-12 pm. At our November 14 workshop, We will be making Thankful Trees using fun foam, fabric scraps, ribbon, and markers. We will also be making Pinecone Bird Feeders as an "extra" project. **Each child needs to bring a tree branch about 1 to 2 ft. in height. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Mark your calendar now for the fifth annual Light Up CenterStage, a spectacular benefit scheduled for November 14, 2009. Aaron Williams and the Hoodoo storm into Louisville, KY, with their special brand of blues/rock/funk. The Madison, WI, based trio consists of frontman and guitar slinger Aaron Williams, a bass player simply known as "Z," and drummer Eric Shackelford. Lynn's Paradise Café hosted the 12th annual Ugly Lamp Contest, which included the born ugly and made ugly categories, as well as the new Leg Lamp category created especially for Actors Theatre's production of A Christmas Story. Lamps will be displayed at the Kentucky State Fair August 20 - 30.
