Since French Lick is deeply rooted in history, it only makes sense to include characters from Christmases past in this year’s festivities. That’s why the Grand Colonnade is transporting diners back in time with a special Dickens of a Buffet. Carolers–all dressed as characters from Dickens’ novels─ will provide meal-time entertainment. Coinciding with the annual event, Christmas in New Harmony, come visit the gallery to view our beautiful array of ornaments. The beautiful 1895 Conrad-Caldwell House Museum on St. James Court is a star attraction on the tour where Christmas and Hanukah shoppers will find great holiday gift ideas in the basement gift shop including a special silent auction of gingerbread houses to benefit the Old Louisville Information Center in Central Park. The handmade gingerbread houses are donated by Terry Rabalais, A Piece of Cake; Leah Stewart, The Gallery House; Gabi Thomas, Nord’s Bakery; and Kamah Patel, The Dessert Company.

Daughtry will launch a 36-date U.S. arena tour this fall to support the group's new studio album, Leave This Town. The opening acts will be main support Theory Of A Deadman and opener Cavo. The upcoming tour will launch October 19 in Topeka, KS before ending the first leg of the tour December 20 in Evansville, IN.

In July, at the Geek Show Episode 1, Divinity Rose made a promise to fanboys everywhere ( and by everywhere we mean facebook). If 100 people came to that show, she would host a following show as an Orion Slave Girl. ...she stopped counting heads at 150, so now she fulfills that promise!

The Sixth Mazin Annual Art Exhibition will be held at the Jewish Community Center, 3600 Dutchmans Lane from Dec. 6-Jan. 11, 2010.
The opening reception for the Mazin Annual Art Exhibition is open to the public and will be held on Dec. 6, 2009 from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. Prizes will be given out to the top three pieces. Artists’ work will be available for sale during the exhibit. This exhibit is free to the public.
