Thursday, January 21, at 6 pm will be a special fundraising progressive dinner in Westport Village to benefit the UofL Women’s Golf Program. The night will begin with a wine tasting at Westport Whiskey & Wine followed by appetizers at Napa River Grill at 7 pm, next will be an exclusive dinner at Wild Eggs at 7:45 pm, and dessert at The Comfy Cow. The special guest Benjamin “Coach” Wade will be accompanied by Coach K, UofL Women’s Golf Coach, and a UofL Football assistant coach. On Friday, January 22 at 6 p.m., the American Cancer Society Relay For Life® of Jefferson County will officially get underway as event volunteers and participants gather at the Galt House for a kickoff rally to launch their fundraising efforts for the year.
This year’s kickoff will mark the first annual Relay For Life of Jefferson County, an event uniting the Relay For Life events which have taken place in various communities across the city in years past.

The monstrous course of bigotry and deceit are terrifyingly depicted through the story of a young farmer, his wife, and a young servant-girl who maliciously causes the wife's arrest for witchcraft. The farmer brings the girl to court to admit the lie-and instead of saving his wife, finds himself also accused of witchcraft and ultimately condemned with a host of others.
