SUMMARY: A small group diabetes class will meet at Baptist Hospital East for two sets of classes. The second set of classes will be offered on Tuesday, Jan. 19 and completed on Tuesday, Jan. 26. The class will be in the second-floor Education Center of the hospital, 4000 Kresge Way. The afternoon classes will be from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Insurance will be billed for the class fee. The 16th annual African American Art Exhibition at Actors Theatre of Louisville will be on display from January 25 - February 22, 2010. The exhibition will run concurrent with the theatrical production of Ella. Each year, over 20,000 theatre and arts patrons view the exhibition, which has become a popular highlight of the region’s visual arts season.
On February 5, 2010 awards will be presented at a reception honoring artists. These awards include a Brown-Forman Corporation purchase award as well as other purchase/merit prizes. Last year, more than $6,000 was awarded!
