Do you want to preserve your family stories for all time; tell the story of Aunt Maggie the free spirit, or Grandpa Joe who stormed the beaches of Normandy, or your daughter and her first birthday party? This six-week class is an opportunity for both new and experienced writers to record and reflect upon their families and family stories, to explore memories and perspective, and to create lasting narratives for future generations.
Almost all fast foods and most foods bought in packages, bottles, cans, and restaurants are altered chemically and are extremely high in salt, sugar, and/or fat. During this new class, you’ll experience the delicious taste of foods in forms close to the ones in which they grew naturally from the earth. During field trips to a large conventional grocery store and a natural foods store, you’ll practice wise label reading and optimum food selection.
