Boys and Girls Haven is pleased to announce our Salute to the Legends Golf Classic, a two day event celebrating local sports Legends! This year they have combined the Annual Golf Scramble and Salute to the Legends cocktail party
Bring your colleagues, golf team, friends and family on Sunday, August 19th for An Evening With the Legends! Former University of Louisville and University of Kentucky basketball players and coaches, along with other local sport celebrities, will join us for a night of nostalgia and celebration. Hosted by Volare Italian Ristorante, the evening will feature a silent auction, a one of a kind raffle drawing, heavy hors d’oeuvres created by Volare’s talented Executive Chef Josh Moore, and a cash bar.
Monday, August 20th brings an 18-hole golf scramble at the beautiful Woodhaven Country Club, including a putting contest, a hole in one contest and much more with Kentuckiana’s favorite Legends! Enjoy lunch prior to or after your selected starting time of 8:00 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Pastries and coffee will be served for those selecting the 8:00 a.m. start time.
Proceeds of the Salute to the Legends Golf Classic will benefit the kids at Boys and Girls Haven and the programs supported through our mission to shelter, heal, and teach young people to become productive and healthy members of our community
We have screened over 100 films this year and have put together the best possible festival. We will have 3 full days of film screenings at The University of Louisville and we cannot wait to see each and every one of you there.
