Artist Information After creating a classic regional US debut album in 2006, Kentucky-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter Darnell Levine used his recent music business degree to create a songwriter's piano-driven EP in 2008 and tour relentlessly as a solo artist, booking himself.  In 2008, he has gained national attention from Performing Songwriter Magazine, Music Choice TV channels, and self-started the Summer Music Experience Tour played exclusively at Starbucks Coffee locations across the north and southeast US, the first notable of its kind.  Journal Entries, is a six-song EP that Performing Songwriter raves "serendipitous...heartfelt and earnest," and The Tennessean calls "...the sharpest non-country release in 2008."  Darnell Levine, over the years, has established an incredible following and is excited to be back home. Event Summary“Vibrate” Live Music Soul Groove is a raw performance featuring Louisville natives Darnell Levine and Maestro J The Blazin Violinist.  This event will be one of an urban upscale intimate feel with two full live music sets.  Set includes full band and acoustics.  Food and beverage will be available for consumption as patrons enjoy the experience.  The idea is to create a close and intimate soul lounge for people to sit back, relax, enjoy the music and vibrate.
