JAY BALLINGER & FRIENDS “ON THE COURSE FOR KIDS” CELEBRITY GOLF TOURNAMENT & CONCERT SET FOR SEPTEMBER 13, 2010

Jay Ballinger hosts his 1st Annual “On the Course for Kids” Celebrity Golf Tournament and Concert presented by Nationwide Insurance benefitting Home of the Innocents on Monday, September 13th at the Oxmoor Country Club (9000 Limehouse Lane, Louisville, KY 40220).

Celebrities Kyle Petty, Jake Owen, Bucky Covington, Jon Wysocki of Staind and Greg Upchurch of 3 Doors Down will join Jay in the two-man scramble, with more celebrities to be announced soon. The evening will conclude with special acoustic performances, open to the public, by Anna Nalick, Kyle Petty, Bucky Covington, and Jake Owen, with special appearances by Jon Wysocki and Greg Upchurch.

Golfer registration and concert tickets for this family-friendly event go on sale at 10 am Saturday, August 7th at onthecourseforkids.com. Prices start at just $10 for the concert, with special VIP packages available.

Jay Ballinger, a Louisville native, was placed for adoption at birth under the care of Home of the Innocents, a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding children in crisis. Jay’s parents adopted him and his sister from Home of the Innocents, and he has gone on to have a successful career in the music business. Jay considers this event his way of giving back to this incredible facility. “If I can do something positive with all I’ve been given, then I feel it’s my obligation to do so. I can’t think of anyone who is more deserving of our support than the children at Home of the Innocents!
