The Afternoon Lecture Series at Historic Locust Grove continues on October 1st, with Dr. James Klotter, Professor of History at Georgetown College.  Dr. Klotter, who is the Kentucky State Historian, will speak about Higher Education in Kentucky in the late 18th and early 19th century. The Locust Grove Afternoon Lecture series is held the first Wednesday of each month.  Dessert and coffee are served at 1:00 p.m. with the lecture immediately following.  Admission is $5, $3 for Friends of Historic Locust Grove.  Reservations are not required.  For more information, call 502-897-9845. Historic Locust Grove is located at 561 Blankenbaker Lane (between Brownsboro Road & River Road).  For more information, www.locustgrove.org. The Afternoon Lecture Series is sponsored by AT&T, the Real Yellow Pages.
