Kaviar Forge & Gallery's walls have gone monochromatic with the exhibition "Embrace and Release" by artist Dawn Bunch. Bunch has produced an intriguing compilation of over 35 acrylic paintings in black and white featuring personal, environmental, and spiritual subjects. Bunch who is primarily known for tackling visual commentaries on feminism and breaking societal conventions in bold colors and sweeping brushstrokes has focused inward with the connecting theme of transition through her departure from color. “Embrace and Release” is on display now through February 26, 2011. An Artist’s Reception for Dawn Bunch will be held at Kaviar Gallery on Friday January 28, 2011 from 6-9 PM in conjunction with the FAT Friday Trolley Hop.
