On Sunday, September 30th at 4 PM, Carmichael's will kickoff "Banned Books Week" with a presentation by Jeremy Rogers, a lawyer with the Media Law Resource Center, concerning censorship's effects on First Amendment Rights.

For 30 years, the American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression has sponsored "Banned Books Week" to highlight the benefits of free and open access to information while drawing attention to the harms of censorship by spotlighting actual or attempted bannings of books across the United States. Please join us for this engaging discussion.
